Hello everyone this is Faith, Honor’s daughter with some words to add to this wonderful blog my mom made and hopefully bring you some comfort. My mom was always very good at coming up with titles and the phrase “Hon We Go” helps sum up how our family gets through tough times. This incredibly difficult time for us is filled with this same optimism and “keep rolling” attitude that she taught us all to have. The cliche saying that “You don’t know what you have until you’ve lost it” does not apply here; I knew what an amazing mother I had my whole life. Now, however, it is even more clear just how much of impact my mom had on everyone she encountered. The overwhelming amounts of support I’ve received from truly every circle of people is incredible, and I see her in each and every one of these people. I’ve laughed at certain things many times to myself knowing that she’s laughing along with me, we were really good at that. As her daughter, I didn’t think anyone could admire her as much as I do, but we all know that’s not the case. She touched so many throughout her life whether it was through her strength, her humor, her wisdom, her words, maybe even her dancing or singing, (which I don’t know if I would describe as touching, more amazingly funny and something that could bring life to any party). I hope that when we all miss her each of you will go to the same strength I feel through this time when I think about her love and how happy she wants us all to be. She taught me how to think of the glass being half full, so when I keep this mindset (which isn’t always easy of course) I realize how lucky we are to have had the times with my mom that we did. For example, this summer, we got to go on a family trip to Maui when she had ONE LUNG. The amount of “one lung” jokes we had was probably a little over board, but I’m laughing as I write this and I know she is too. My mom also loved the Florida Keys, and we will go back soon because she’d want us to and we know she’ll be with us there too.
My 12 year old brother Chase and I have watched our dad Jason and witnessed what “in sickness and in health” really looks like. Our new immediate family in the house is Chase, Jason, and myself and we all agree to “be a little more like mom” on a lot of things. I think everyone could use a bit more Honor. Right now, I use the tools she taught me like taking things day by day, breathing, praying, laughing, thinking of what there is to look forward too, appreciating the people around us, giving our worries to God, and trusting in His plan that is already set for us. These are some of the MANY components that contributed to my mom’s strength and I hope you all continue to feel it in your own ways, that’s what she would want. We will all get through it and I am sending her love and our love to you all as we move into a new year…Hon We Go!
Beautiful, Faith. Your mom was one amazing lady! She meant so much to so many. I will cherish our friendship forever. All our love to you guys. ❤
This is so amazing! Faith, you are living proof that your mom will never ever be gone from us. Thank you so, so much for your beautiful words. We loved her very much! P.S. I kind of unsubscribed accidentally to this but I DO NOT want to stop getting these updates.
FAITH…your heart & words are amaaazing!! I’m sure you will warm every Mother’s Heart who reads this. I love the way you are choosing to Trust God I’m the coming year…just as you have the past years. You are a Blessing to Him and alllll of us!!
Faith, your Mom, Dad, Grandparents and brother must feel such a sense of comfort with your maturity demonstrated by your words. I was there on the night your Dad was born and I remember when your Dad and Mom met in HS…quite the love affair! You are a wonderful combination of a great set of parents on all sides. Peace and love to you always! Vicki Z.
Sweet Faith,
My heart skipped a beat or two when I saw there was a post On Honwego.
Your amazing Mama lives on dear girl in you and dear Chase and she will always have a piece of our hearts.
She is irreplaceable, but we will all carry on as she would want us to. Joyfully- with rose colored glasses-glass half full mentality.
Love you Faith
Ant B (please continue the Ant thing- I love it and it’s so Honor!)
?
Thank you Faith. Your mom-A super shining star that will shine bright forever. Hugs to all. And yes HONWEGO
Faith, you write just like your mom writes. She is proud of you. I remember when I realized my daughter could take care of herself if we were gone. It was a relief. That maturity is more than evident in you. Honor came to see that in you, and must have brought her comfort. Your dad, you, and Chase are constantly in our prayers. You guys are a living legacy to her goodness, smarts, compassion, faith, love, endurance, and ability to laugh, and bring others into her life story. May God grant you the present of His presence, even as your mom now enjoys His caring company. Give your dad a hug,and Chase a hug and a noogie..
Faith, you write with all the skill of your mom. You, Jason, and Chase are a legacy of her smarts, compassion, moral strength, faith and love for all. She had to be comforted with the knowledge that you also have the same stuff to succeed in life with the same skill, character, and attributes she lived out. May God bring you the comfort and confidence of His presence – even the closeness that your mom now shares with Him. We love you guys.
Faith–I can only imagine how proud your mom is of both you and Chase. Your mom is still one of my guardian angels, and a I know she is up there looking for the next person to help and share her fight with, even if she isn’t at her best. She was my rock star, and I am truly numb to hear and read all of this for the last few days. I will always take comfort in the fact that she is watching over all of you, all of us. Hugs <3
Faith, you are wise beyond your years. I have seen you grow up from a far and have seen the love and pride your mom had for you. You have reminded me of her from the time you were about three. I know all of you will continue to carry on the wisdom, love and positivity she has taught all of us.
Absolutely touching and you are such an amazing example of love and courage. Your mom is looking down at you from heaven and showering you with strength and is so proud of you!!! We will miss her terribly but her memories will keep us all going ???
Dearest Faith, how kind of you to bolster us with your lovely thoughts. I am very proud of you. You have inherited your Mother’s “gift with words”.
With love, Aunt Jane
Faith, we so needed this! You are strong and eloquent like your mama. She is so proud of you. We love you.
Thank you Faith! We were all blessed to be apart of your moms life.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Dearest Faith,
Thank you for this expression of pure Love and Wisdom. Throughout Honor’s life, she always exhibited the same strength and understanding which I see in your words and in You . They are not mere words but “Gems” of an inner knowledge that says : I will trust in the Lord My God with all my Heart and Soul”. This commitment and dedication was and is her testimony and legacy of her Life. Know your Mother and my Daughter , Honor Lee Beyer, was and is the BEST of the BEST !

Faith, thank you for your beautiful words. Your mom always showed such deep faith and trust in God and a sense of humor and optimism that truly made her stand out and shine. I see this in you and your ability to still look at life from the “half full” perspective. Experiencing your moms friendship was a gift I will be forever grateful for. #honwego with an angle looking over all of us.
I Sat with your mom for hours over the years doing her nails, laughing over our daughter stories.. I too have a daughter your age.. beautiful as well, smart and funny and your mom and I would compare stories and take mental notes and give advice.. she always was is awe of you and your spirit and your beauty and I loved that she loved you as I love my daughter … she will be missed but as I can see here you definitely are your mother’s daughter.. so eloquent in your description of her and funny and real!! I loved your mom’s realness she was always honest and truthful . I truly hope and wish your family comfort in this time of loss.. you were all truly loved with HONOR and grace.

My Darling Faith; Thank you for the beautiful letter. You remind me so much of ur mommy. So mature beyond your years. You look back on memories you forgot you had, And at times you’ll smile even though it hurts so bad.
Your mother is a special woman and no one can ever take her place,
You’ll find a piece of mind when you remember her smiling face.
Your mother is an Angel now she flies high above the rest,
and in your hearts always and forever she will be the best.
As you finally drift off to sleep let her memory hold you tight.
She will be your guardian angel through the rest of your life,
Helping lead you on the path between what’ wrong and right.
Your mother loves you so very much and her love will always remain true,
A mother’s love is like no other in the whole world,
she has the most wonderful memories of a little boy and girl.
She has taken them with her as she’s flown away,
Up to Heaven free of pain.
So although you can not see her and you wish she could be there,
Your mother can always hear you and your mother will always care.
A mother does not forget the two greatest loves of her life,
And she loved nothing more than being your mommy, and your daddy’s wife.
She is so proud of her family and that’s in her heart to stay,
So as you cry your tears remember your mommy’s love,
Being sent to you from her, from the beautiful Heaven above.
We were brought together for a reason. We have Faith! To help you & Chase through the good and bad, sprinkle little glitter where she would have. . To know you and your family is “Honor”. Let the memory of the amazing life with her and well spent is eternal.” xxoo Christina Dashwood & Family
Beautiful words Faith. Much love to you, Jason and Chase… You are an amazing bunch! Love you all so much <3
Faith,
I never met you, I lived next door to your Mom, Grandma, Grandpa, Uncles Nick and Jeff when they were little for years. I remember when your mom and dad met and their relationship bloomed as young kids. Such a beautiful family, and they were there for me and my son Ricky for many years. Without them, I wondered if we would have made it through as well as we have. My heart goes out to you, your dad and brother. Bless you for writing this, will you please pass my love on to your Grandma, and have her contact me please? 541.815.8899. Love, Vicki Smith
Faith,
You are stronger beyond your years. Such beautiful words about your mom. She is so proud of you. I cherish my friendship with your mom. I absolutely loved how she would tell me about something in your life that reminded her about when we were growing up together. I see the same thing with my own daughters… their first best friend, first sleep over, making up dances, being silly…. it all brings me back to those precious years growing up with your mom. I will miss her more than words can describe, but it is these memories that will keep her in my heart forever. Love to you and your family, Lisa
